In order to maintain high quality service our schools all answer to a strict scope statement . (teaching, technical, business) ;

Our Story :

1996Our Basque Coast Surf School (BCSS) has been created by the association of two lovers of gliding sports, Yoann a pioneer in a Basque surf school management & the in other hand Alain who used to teach skiing & surfing since 1989.

1998 facing a large amount of new customers a new surf school was opened in Basque country . The BCSS became a limited company.

2000, as surfing attracted more and more people a branch was established in Landes Coast ( Landes Coast Surf School, LCSS).

2001, internet boom & purchase of the domain names: www.ecoledesurf.com,  www.ecole-de-surf.com, first website uploaded.

2004,second website version.

2005,main commercial name for surf schools turn into one : “Ecole de Surf Côte Française” (French Coast Surf School), opening of a third school in Vieux Boucau.

2007, 3rd version of the website available.

In 2007, the ESCF celebrated a decade of experience in surfing holidays, with its 2000 participants a year through 3 surf schools : ESCF Anglet, ESCF Seignosse, ESCF Vieux Boucau.

Our goal now is to create a ESCF in every part of french coast cities where it is possible to practice surfing, increasing our offer while keeping this common performant & innovative website for an easier booking.

Fro next years we will continue to focus on the promotion of surfing holidays adapted to your abilities, level, thanks to a higher quality of teaching & gobal management.
